The chicken fried rice was good and affordable. The yum yum sauce is good. Service is great. Atmosphere is nice. The down side is the vegetables - the portions are are small. Try a least once
Was busy staff was great food was good place was clean we will eat here again waitress was excellent
A brand new and much needed restaurant in Hodgenville! We have a handful of pretty descent places to eat but not the kind of selection you might find in the nearby city of E-town. With 2 Mexican restaurants, 3 pizza joints, and a few fast food chains, a Japanese restaurant is a welcome addition to our small town line up. Interestingly, however, you won't find a single Japanese soul anywhere in the restaurant. I believe the owner is the next of kin of the owner of the Mexican restaurant just down the street. But who cares? The food was pretty good! My only complaint, was the service was a little slow. We were seated almost immediately and our order taken pretty quickly but we waited awhile before getting our salad and appetizer. By the way, you have to try the Gyoza. Anyway, I decided to cut them some slack on slow service since this was their second day of business. But it was nearly closing time when we finally got our main dishes. My wife had the chicken hibachi. I had steak and shrimp. Both dishes came with plenty of fried rice and vegetables. They even had "Yum-Yum" sauce. All-in-all, everything was fine and I do wish them the very best. I'm sure we'll eat here again but I certainly hope the service picks up speed as they work to find their groove! Anyway, check it out! Tell them I sent you.
It's a nice atmosphere, very friendly staff! My food was delicious! That is now my grandsons favorite place to eat!
